To edit a Product Recommendation made via FarmRite, you will need to begin in the Maps tab with the Grower, Farm and Field selected that the Recommendation was placed on.

Apply the Product Recommendation to the field then click on the Rec Editor icon.

Tool Tip: In the screenshot below, the button on the right in the Job Summary tab will open the rec editing tool.

The product and units of the rec will populate at the top of the screen. To make any changes to the product itself or units, make the appropriate selections from each drop-down.

Editors Tip: For products such as Lime, the percent nutrient will need to be defined as well.

To associate any previous applications to be calculated against the order, choose View Credits.

Make any necessary adjustments to the displayed rates under the Adjusted column. The Adjusted column allows the user to edit the minimum, maximum or total product of the Product Recommendation. Use the gear icon next to the word “Adjusted” to edit the amount to round the rec to change the non-zero values to put down 0 or the minimum and leave areas with 0 as 0.

To lock a value once you have changed the minimum or maximum, click the Lock button. Values should always be locked once they are edited to be certain the values will not change unless edited again.

If any mistakes are made while editing a rec, click Start Over to restore the original values. After the necessary changes have been made, click Save. You have successfully edited your Product Recommendation which can now be shared or exported.
