I'm sure that most, if not everyone reading this knows what the term Tank Mix is or at the very least has their own definition that comes to mind.
For the purposes of this article and for the sake of clarification, as it relates to Sirrus, a Tank Mix is defined as a collection or combination of chemical and(or) fertilizers that can be mixed together in a single solution or 'tank' to be applied on a field for a specific reason.
There are a number of reasons that come to mind why applying a tank mix to a crop or field would be of benefit. Improved efficiency in use of time, reducing the amount of fuel and tractor time spent in a field, or taking advantage of the multiple modes of action that the tank mix provides that can prevent weeds/pests from developing resistance and more.
The ability to create and save Tank Mixes for Sirrus has been available in the Sirrus Mobile application for sometime and the same capability is live in Sirrus Web.

When you have finished adding products and making adjustments to the order, select Create in the top right of the screen. On the following page, you will see the new Tank Mix in the list of available mixes. You'll also notice that the new mix has been selected and is now able to be applied to the Job in Sirrus. If you see that there is an edit needed, simply select the Edit button under Apply to make corrections.
Once you have finished making adjustments, click Apply to be taken back to the Create Job page.
Double check that the Job & Crop Information, the Fields and Products (Tank Mix) is correct and then select Create in the top right of your screen.
You may notice that the Total app rate and Units have been locked, as well as the Add Products button.
If you would like to add more products or change the Job completely, click the Trash button to scrap the current order and follow the previous steps to make Edits to the Tank Mix or create a new mix altogether.
